Woman Arrested After Having Three Children In Vehicle During Police Chase

ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested a woman for causing a high speed chase through two counties with three children in the car.

Kavett Saddler, 37, refused to pull over for police after she was clocked speeding on Highway 74 in Union County.

Saddler didn’t stop until she ran over stop sticks near a Walmart in Wadesboro, approximately 23 miles from when the officer initiated the traffic stop.

The three children in the car, a seven-week-old, a three-year-old and a nine-year-old, were all turned over to DSS.

Saddler has been charged with child abuse, speeding to elude arrest and multiple traffic charges.  No one was injured in the chase.
