Police say Robinson is charged with seven counts of felony breaking and entering, and seven counts of larceny after breaking and entering.

On December 8th 2020, officers say they responded to Harmony Place at Grier Heights Senior Apartments on Marney Avenue in reference to a residential breaking and entering call for service.

When officers arrived at the scene, a victim told officers that an unknown suspect had entered her storage unit and stole several items in it.

Officers say over the next three months, they investigated six more break-ins at this apartment complex and were able to identify Bryon Robinson as the suspect.

After an interview with detectives, Robinson was taken into custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged, according to a news release.

Detectives say around the same time, they investigated a series of commercial break-ins at a local Food Lion.

On January 27th, 2021 around 6 a.m., officers say they responded to the Food Lion on Wendover Road in reference to a break-in that happened overnight.

Shortly after 2:15 a.m. an unknown suspect damaged the front door and gained entry into the business, and stole property belonging to the business, according to the reporting person.

Officers say through April 14th, they responded to three more break-ins at the same Food Lion, and during each incident there was property stolen and damage done to the entry of the business.

Detectives say after relentless investigation they determined Kenneth White was the suspect and arrested him.

White was taken into custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, where he was charged for his involvement in these series of break-ins.

The investigation into both of these series of break-ins remains active and ongoing.
