CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was at Garinger High School today where he was not only giving us all of the info on this Saturday’s Veteran’s Day Parade, but also showing us the beautiful memorial Garinger recently dedicated to veterans.
Garinger’s Vietnam Memorial is dedicated to school alumni who served and dedicated and gave their lives to defend and protect our country during the war in Vietnam. The memorial is directly across from the main entrance of the school. Wilson found out how and why the memorial was created.
This Saturday, November 8th, the Carolinas Freedom Foundation will again hold their annual Salute to Veterans Parade. The parade begins at 11am beginning at 700 N. Tryon Street and ending at 600 S. Tryon Street. And again this year, our own Wilson will be MC of the parade It’s a great family event and a chance to say thank you to those who have served our country.
