Man Arrested After Robbing Charlotte Bank Friday

 CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested Michael Hall, 56, for robbing a First Citizen’s Bank just after 4 p.m. Friday. 

Hall entered the bank at 6709 N. Tryon St. and handed the teller a note demanding. Hall took the money and ran away. 

Police released a suspect description after they saw Hall running. They also set up a perimeter in the area.

A citizen told officers that the suspect was hiding behind his home on Hampton Way. 

Hall was found, arrested and taken into custody where he was interviewed by Robbery Detectives.

Hall was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
