Drew Bollea Co-Anchors WCCB Charlotte News at 10 with Morgan Fogarty and Greg Armbrecht.
Drew Joined the WCCB Charlotte team in August 2018, after a two-year tenure in Sacramento, California where he worked as a general assignment reporter for KOVR.  While in Sacramento, Drew covered everything from the state’s roll-out of legalized marijuana, wildfires and California’s housing crisis to the city’s bid for an MLS franchise.
Prior to his time on the West Coast, Drew served as a morning anchor and reporter for WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, following a stint in Warner Robins, Georgia where he began his career in journalism at a start-up television station.
A Northern Virginia native, Drew graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  While there, Drew was a member of the swim and water polo teams.
When he’s not hunting down story leads, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsay, who also has a background in television, and their one-year-old son, Cade.  He also enjoys playing with his dog, Rio, running and traveling to new places.
Drew is thrilled to be back on the East Coast closer to family and says Charlotte is a great mix of small-town feel in a big city.  He says being close to the mountains and beaches also makes the Queen City the perfect place to call home.
Watch Drew on WCCB News @ 10 MondayFriday starting at 10pm.
