Residents Rally Outside Council Meeting To “Save Davidson”

DAVIDSON, NC — Residents say they will keep fighting a proposed development and hope to sway town leaders.

More than a dozen people held signs outside of Tuesday night’s council meeting to try and stop a high-density development on North Main Street. The development would be built on property the town bought from a local family in 1984. The original intention of the purchase was to build a park.

The Davidson Town Council did not make any decisions on the development at tonight’s meeting.
