More afternoon and evening shower/storms

Relief from humidity moves in Friday

Tuesday morning starts off warm and very muggy with areas of patchy fog through sunrise. The air will feel heavy early in the day as humidity levels remain extremely high across the region. A few isolated showers could develop during the morning hours, but many locations will start to dry out through midday with occasional breaks of sunshine.

By Tuesday afternoon and evening, scattered showersΒ and thunderstorms become more common as daytime heating helps storms develop. Not everyone gets wet, but keep an eye on the sky if you have outdoor plans. High temperatures climb into the middle and upper 80s, while the humidity makes it feel closer to the lower 90s at times.

Wednesday follows a very similar setup with another sticky start to the day. Morning fog and a few spotty showers remain possible early, especially in areas that pick up rain the day before. Clouds and sunshine mix together through the afternoon before scattered storms redevelop during the late afternoon and evening hours. Some storms could produce heavy downpours because of the tropical moisture in place. Highs once again reach the mid to upper 80s.

By Thursday, the summerlike pattern continues with warm temperatures and plenty of humidity staying locked in across the region. Expect another round of patchy morning fog followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms developing later in the day. While there will still be dry periods mixed in, rain chances remain elevated through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures hold in the 80s, with muggy conditions making it feel several degrees hotter during the peak heating of the day.

Friday looks like the best day for outdoor plans and sunny skies. Temperatures stay in the low to mid 80s with low humidity!Β
