Should Joe Rogan Accept The $100 Million Offer From Rumble?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Joe Rogan is now being offered $100 million to join media platform Rumble. The video platform that bills itself as “neutral” is offering a four year deal, with zero content restrictions. The offer comes as Rogan, apologized on Saturday for repeatedly using racial slurs on his show, The Joe Rogan Experience.

Rogan used the n word more than 20 times in 12 years. He said, “Now I know that to most people, there’s no context where a white person is ever allowed to say that word, never mind publicly on a podcast, and I agree with that now, I haven’t said it in years. But for a long time, when I would bring that word up, like it would come up in conversation, instead of saying ‘the n-word’ I would just say the word, I thought as long as it was context, people would understand what I was doing.”

Rumble’s offer includes wanting access to Rogan’s entire library of shows. So far, Spotify, where Rogan currently hosts his show, has removed more then 100 episodes and added content advisory warnings to episodes about COVID. Spotify’s CEO says Rogan’s words are hurtful, but the company will not be silencing him.

Our question of the night: should Joe Rogan take the deal with Rumble?
