CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say the man who was run over by his wife in west Charlotte has died.
Edsel Barbee passed away at approximately 2:30 p.m. after being transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened Tuesday morning on Tuckaseegee Road. Officials say Barbee’s wife was backing out of the driveway when she struck him. At this time, it appears the incident was an accident.
No word on charges.
