ATLANTA (AP) β Bo Wallace threw four TD passes in a sloppy season opener, and No. 18 Mississippi pulled away to beat Boise State 35-13 in another Top-25 game last night. Ole Miss led only 7-6 entering the fourth quarter before finishing off Boise State when Wallace threw for TDs on three consecutive throws, ruining the debut of new Broncos coach Bryan Harsin.
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) β Tonight, eighth-ranked Michigan State opens the season against Jacksonville State of the Ohio Valley Conference, but the Gamecocks are hardly pushovers.
