Volunteers Dropping Everything To Help Victims of Helene In Western NC

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Helene tore through western North Carolina, dumping more than a foot of heavy rainfall, causing deadly flash flooding and devastation. Thousands of volunteers have dropped everything to help with the massive relief effort that is now underway. WCCB Charlotte’s Lauren McDonald talked with U.S. Army Veteran, Vinny Giglio, one of the many volunteers helping people in one of the hardest hit areas of the North Carolina mountains.
