All clear given after bomb threat at Holbrook Middle School

LOWELL, N.C. — Police investigated a report of a bomb threat at Holbrook Middle School in Gaston County on Thursday.

The threat was made before 4 pm.

Lowell Police Department and Gaston County Police Department responded to the school.

Shortly after 5pm and after thoroughly searching the school, officials say no evidence of a bomb was found and students were released from school.

There is no word on any arrests related to the threat.
