Police: Woman Arrested, Charged After Making Bomb Threats At Lancaster Zaxby’s

LANCASTER, S.C. — Lancaster police say a woman was arrested Friday after calling in two bomb threats to a Zaxby’s.

According to the police department, officers responded to the fast food location, located on Highway 9 Bypass West, around 9 a.m. after an initial call.

Officers evacuated all employees from the building and searched the area for any suspicious packages. Nothing was discovered during the search.

A second phone call came in about a bomb threat at the restaurant around 10:45 a.m., while officers were still at the scene. They then searched the area again and found nothing.

Police say Sheniqua Cunningham, 38, called in both bomb threats and initially stated that a previous Zaxby’s employee made the threats. Cunningham later admitted to investigators that the information she had given was false.
