Manufacturing Plant MaxLife Expanding In Rowan County

MaxLife Industries announced Thursday an expansion of the company’s local footprint by leasing a 46,000 square foot warehouse space that will serve as the company’s second manufacturing plant and customer service headquarters. With this expansion, located at 1335 Litton Drive in Salisbury, MaxLife seeks to immediately hire 55 local workers in its two manufacturing plants.

Family Files $30M Suit Over Deputies' Shooting Of Black Man

The family of an unarmed Black man who was fatally shot by sheriff’s deputies in North Carolina says he died because of the officers’ “intentional and reckless disregard of his life,” according to a $30 million civil rights lawsuit filed Wednesday.
