Wilson’s World: Day 1 of “Stuff the Truck” 2017 for the Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree

Wilson will be camping out and "stuffing the truck" until 9am on Friday morning.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As WCCB-TV has done for many years, again this year we are working with the Salvation Army to bring a very merry Christmas to children in need through the Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree.  And as always we can depend on our own Wilson to go above and beyond to help out.

This morning and for the next 24 hours you will find Wilson along with Two Men and a Truck, camping out at in the parking lot at SouthPark Mall to encourage people to help kids in need.  Everyone is asked to drop by and bring toys for kids that may not otherwise have a gift on Christmas Day.

And, if you have adopted an Angel from the Subway Salvation Angel Tree you can drop off your donations at the Stuff The Truck Event, hang out with Wilson, have some fun with the WCCB Street Team and win some awesome prizes.

If you still have not adopted an Angel, there is still time to go online at wccbcharlotte.com and adopt a child on the Subway Salvation Angel Tree.  Click HERE to connect directly to the link.

You will find Wilson camping out at the main entrance of  SouthPark Mall  just outside of the Cheesecake Factory until 9am Friday morning.  He will be doing live cut-ins throughout the day today,  checking in during our WCCB News @ Ten tonight and live again tomorrow morning on Rising.

Special thanks to Two Men and a Truck, Subway and SouthPark Mall for their partnership in the Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree Stuff the Truck event.
