Charleston Fashion Week
Showcasing emerging designer and model talent across the East Coast, Charleston Fashion Week® has fast become one of the premier fashion weeks in North America. Held March 18-22nd, 2014 under the tents in Marion Square in Charleston, SC, this five-night celebration will feature more than 35 runway shows, the Emerging Designer Competition: East, the Spring Bridal Show, and the Rock the Runway Model Competition™. Accredited with launching the careers of numerous up-and-coming fashion designers and models, this true multimedia event presents high-end runway shows, interactive entertainment, chic after-parties, and press events.
Each night CFW will feature runway shows by five emerging designer contestants, select local retailers, and featured designers. The full featured designer schedule is as follows:

What the Folk Music Festival Announced with Todd Snider Headlining Two Nights
Ford Productions presents the inaugural What the Folk Music Festival on April 11th from 5pm-10pm and April 12th from 11am-10pm at Sewee Outpost located at 4853 US Hwy. 17 in Awendaw, SC. The two day music festival features Todd Snider headlining both nights as well as other bands performing such as The Bottle Rockets, Charlie Mars, Pierce Edens & the Dirty Work, Megan Jean & the KFB, Swamp Candy, Vinegar Creek Constituency, Sierra Elizabeth Ferrell, Doug Jones, Ryan Bonner and a few more surprise guests! Food trucks The Big Southern and Lowcountry Creole will be there along with two beer trucks with the local brews including Palmetto Brewery. Available through Stranger Tickets, admission is $25 on Friday, $35 on Saturday or $50 for limited two day pass. Additionally, camping is available for $20.

Autism Beach Ball featuring The Tams
Lowcountry Autism Foundation and Anderson Insurance Associates present Autism Beach Ball on Saturday, March 1st at 6pm. Benefiting MUSC-LAF’s Autism Family Support and Outreach Programs serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, the semi-formal fund raising event will showcase live music from The Tams. Guests will enjoy libations, a beach supper, dancing, a silent and live auction at the Tides on Folly Beach. So, it looks like the EpiCentre is up for sale… The listing price isn’t being disclosed as of yet but recent evaluations put the project at around $50 million dollars.

Sewee Association presents Music and Oysters for Wildlife on Saturday, January 11th from 2-8pm at Sewee Outpost, 4853 U.S. 17 North in Awendaw, South Carolina. The live music line up includes The Blue Dogs, Mark Bryan and the Occasional Milkshake, Danielle Howle, Doug Jones, Lincoln Middle High School Steel Band & Red Dog Ramblers. The proceeds from this event will help the SEWEE Association carry out its mission. The South Eastern Wildlife and Environment Education Association (SEWEE Association) is the Friend’s Group for the National Wildlife Refuges (NWR) and National Forest (NF) of coastal South Carolina that works with federal partners to achieve their mission in biological, cultural and educational activities.

Charity Santa Crawl
100% of the proceeds will go to a local family’s 1year old son who needs eye surgery as well as other medical and therapy expenses. Money will go to this 1 family the toys donated will be taken to various family’s, organizations or schools needing help for the holidays. Even if you do not want to participate on the crawl please feel free to donate.

If you missed the our Halloween crawl here’s your chance to join us on another great event. For those who went on the almost 400 person crawl we will be ready for you in more ways then 1.
We will have more bars and more or different stops to handle the crowd so everyone can get served in a timely manner. We will also have SET stops for main prizes. We are currently working on prizes that MAY include a ski trip or a spring break cruise.
