The Medal of Honor Bowl in Charleston said Thursday it had hired the founder of the College All-Star game in Greenville, David Wyatt, for its organization. Wyatt says his move means there’s no need to organize the Upstate game in 2015.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson says it’s sold out of football season tickets. Athletic department spokesman Joe Galbraith said Wednesday that the school had sold all of the more than 52,000 season tickets at Memorial Stadium for its seven-game home schedule.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Hornets have announced they’ve named Chad Buchanan as their assistant general manager. Buchanan spent the last 10 years with the Portland Trail Blazers, the last seven working as the director of college scouting. Buchanan also served as Portland’s acting general manager from 2011-12 and was responsible for all player transactions.
