Six Arrested In Lincoln County Armed Robbery Case
LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives have arrested six people in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on May 22nd, 2016.
Reports indicate that the victim, Danny Dean, was in his residence with a female guest, Shasta Oxedine, when they heard a scratch at the door.Β Believing the noise to be his dog, Mr. Dean opened the door and was confronted by two men in masks and a rifle, who demanded money.Β After receiving $780 in cash, one of the men took Mr. Dean’s cell phone and was directed to break it by Shasta Oxendine. The assailants then fled in a light colored vehicle.
A female, believed to be Ms. Oxendine, called the Lincoln County Communications Center and told the dispatcher that two men had entered the residence and stole cash.
Jeffrey McMichael, Patricia McMichael, Miranda Strickland, Jody Adams,and Brandon Shronce were arrested and charged with Robbery with A Firearm and Conspiracy.
Shasta Oxendine was charged with Conspiracy and Aiding and Abetting a felony. She was also charged with Filing A False Police Report.
