CHARLOTTE, NC — Officials say a group of teenagers were responsible for the disruptions at Carowinds’ Harmony Hall Monday night that had visitors in a panic.
People took to social media Monday evening reporting pops and explosions near Harmony Hall at Carowinds which caused a panic for families and visitors.
Park officials now say a group of teenagers were responsible for the disruptions.
According to a report, park security and law enforcement officials responded to the area of Harmony Hall around 9pm and detained the teens until they could be released to their parents.
Carowinds wants visitors to know that the safety and well-being of their guests and associates is their highest priority.
