Wilson’s World: Getting a Practice Ride in Before this Weekend’s 24 Hours of Booty

The 24 Hours of Booty ride kicks off in "Bootyville" this Friday, July 28th at 7pm and run through 7pm on Saturday the 29th.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was also getting in a little booty ride of his own…what we call the 24 Seconds of Big Booty ride while at Bicycle Sports on Selwyn Avenue not only getting us ready for the Booty Ride, but getting a few bicycle safety tips as well.

The 16th Annual 24 Hours of Booty kicks off on Friday and every year Wilson visits with participants and volunteers  to get us pumped up for the 24 Foundation‘s  24 Hours of Booty.

Laura Whitaker and her dad Dennis, with Team Cootie Jones, joined Wilson earlier this month and actually came back again to have a few laughs with Wilson as they talked about the team’s name and origin as well as her personal battle.

Each year 24  Hours of Booty riders come together in Myers Park  to raise funds for Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children’s Hospital, LIVESTRONG Foundation, and Keep Pounding Foundation and Queen’s University.  This year’s ride begins at 7pm on Friday, July 28th and concludes at 7pm Saturday, July 29th.

Something new for this year’s 24 Hours of Booty, participants will be able to walk the booty loop if they would like.  So not only bike riders, but also those who enjoy a good walk can help to fund programs for advancing cancer survivorship and and navigation programs.
