Thousands remain without power after severe storms leave behind widespread damage
It is the first time since April 2011 that parts of the high country have been under a level 4 (out of 5) severe threat. Widespread wind damage, large hail, isolated tornadoes and localized flooding are all concerns.
Cloud cover and rain will lead to much cooler temperatures on Thursday. On and off rain could lead to isolated flash flooding.
The launch may be viewable across the Mid-Atlantic region for a few minutes Tuesday evening after 8:30pm.
