South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster To Allow Outdoor Dining At Restaurants Starting May 4th

Governor Henry McMaster today announced that the statewide β€œWork-or-Home” order will be lifted and returned to voluntary status on Monday, May 4th. The governor also announced that beginning on May 4th, restaurants throughout South Carolina may provide outdoor customer dining service in addition to existing take out, curbside, and delivery services.

Charlotte Shared Streets Pilot Program Creates Space For Social Distancing

The City of Charlotte is scheduled to begin implementing the Charlotte Shared Streets pilot on Saturday, May 9. This project is intended to support outdoor exercise; create a safer environment for people walking, wheelchair rolling, and biking; and promote physical distancing of at least 6 feet by identifying low-speed neighborhood streets as β€œShared Streets.”
