It appears North Carolina voters will not have to show ID in March's presidential primary. U.S. Senators return to Washington at the end of the week. Closer to home, this year's homicide rate in Charlotte is on track to be the worst since 1993.

Man Charged In Deadly Hit-and-Run In West Charlotte

Bond was reduced Monday for the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run in west Charlotte. 19-year-old Rodney Lycurgus McCorkle, Jr., was arrested Friday evening and charged with felony hit-and-run, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen vehicle.
