A pedestrian bridge connecting Charlotte’s Uptown and South End is envisioned to become iconic infrastructure and an important link between two of the city’s major employment hubs, thanks to a public-private partnership unveiled today by business and community leaders.

The Keith Corporation (β€œTKC”), a full-service commercial real estate firm headquartered in Charlotte, is spearheading the redevelopment of a 400,000-square-foot historic building that was part of the former Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company complex in downtown Rock Hill, South Carolina into restaurant, retail, office and event space.

Governor Cooper Vetoes ICE Detainer Bill, HB 370

House Bill 370 would have required sheriffs in North Carolina to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainers for illegal immigrants charged with crimes. The bill was approved by the House on Tuesday.
